Very cool program! Really! But how can it be? How can be audiostudio without audio input (not midi)? Usually I playing with guitar and I cant record to Nanostudio(((

Use it as a synth live, stable and useful app! But, to be perfect, it need an arpeggiator. Please!

It s awesome! The new midi feature with line6 midi mobilizer has an ultra low latency....nanostudio is all I need to write down my songs, but now even to play live in my gig as a midi expander...to me, the first real pro app for iDevice...

The iphone version rocks However the universal version is now a must... And we have been waiting for quite some time now...Come on get it out!! I am sure well love it.

I love Nanostudio and ive been using this app for 2 years. But with this last update something went terrible wrong. Twice in a week ive lost the work of hours because the app didnt save the progress, despite (obviously) repeatedly pushing the save button while working on the track... Everyone who writes music knows how frustrating it is to lose the ideas and the work of an entire evening. Please fix this, i cant trust this app anymore...

The PC version has full 16 tracks without having to pay other money. One star is more than enough.

I will qualify by saying Ive been using nanostudio since its release and have used it every single day since. I have never read the reviews though and here, years later I decided to do just that. As I expected it was one 5 star review after another obviously written by thoughtful and articulate artists in the field of music composition and production. Then I came upon a review written by all names taken titled "waste of money" that so moved me I feel compelled to review the review itself. My review, This person is an idiot. If I could give this person 6 stars for being an authentic moron I would. I believe that every body has the right to right to their own opinion, except all names taken". It sound to me as though this person may be on some kind of medication which alters their sense of time and general reality making it difficult to touch objects on a small screen accurately. My heart goes out to you "all names taken" but I am confident that one day you wake up from your haze and embrace the outstanding qualities of nanostudio. And I do hope you find a name one of these days. Despite what your parents might have told you, there really are plenty to go around.

I have been making electronic music for years. This thing is so easy to use and the work flow is sick. I still rock a flip phone but now I carry and old iPhone around just to have this with me everywhere. The synths are tight and the effects are great too. It will record automation and has easy to use midi editing. AND… you can sample the environment around you (I even beatboxed a few things) into the drum pads (MPC style). This thing is great and for @ 6 bucks you cant go wrong.

The only reason I got this was because j-Louis from soulection made an entire EP solely from nanostudio Its called iPhone joints. Highly recommended it to everyone who thinks this app is lame

Trust me. I rarely write reviews, but the truth must be told. I have $30 top name apps that dont even come close to this baby. The sound set alone is premier. The multitrack functionality make this an iOS songwriters dream come true. Do not hesitate. Buy this app right now!!

Samples can be granulated for some fun mangled results. Still no midi sync, dont expect much more support for this app. Its old.

Pretty sad to see this one become abandoned, it was really awesome in its day, I thought there was going to be another version at some point, but in 2 years, nothing, no updates at all, oh well, it was good while it lasted. As iPads and iOS gets newer, Id say be careful of apps that developers bail on after a couple years.

This app is AMAZING! Never before have I seen an app with SO many professional features... and everything is brilliantly formatted for the small screen. Im completely stunned at how full-featured this is... on my phone! Definitely well worth the asking price. I havent used many other DAWs on the AppStore (this was obviously the best based on reviews), but I cant imagine anything even coming close to this.

Needs a deeper sampler, at least one that will allow you to make a key-map with layers and zones, perhaps with separate architecture per zone or per sample even. Then I would be on this thing like white on rice. Nobody is doing samples on iOS. Why? I hate that! I love this thing in all other respects.

The app is fantastic and you can create any sound imaginable, might take some time to figure out but its great. Theres 2 problems: The sound doesnt work after you receive a call, and the only way to fix that is to restart the app. And it will occasionally mess up wen you exit the app and lock your screen. Needs an update fix ASAP. And the other is a request. We need to be able to record our voice in-app. If you could fix the bug and add voice recording, that would be great!
